The all new Adaptive mode adapts the heat plate temperature to the surrounding conditions in the room and outside creating an ambiance for you to enjoy. If you prefer to stay constant then the DreamStation has you covered as you can choose the Fixed Mode: allowing you to apply constant heat on the humidifier heated plate rather than adapt to the surroundings.
